Gathering unbiased, reliable insights about users is essential for any business, but for startups it is a matter of survival. Yet many startups are not in a position to hire a dedicated researcher.

I serve as a coach who equips founders and their teams with the skills to do user research on their own.

My approach recognizes that user research in the startup environment needs to be three things:

Fast. Startups simply do not have time to spend weeks doing research.

Accurate. Research may inform fundamental decisions that shape a startup's destiny.

Business-Focused. The goal of user research is to help a new business achieve crucial milestones, like building the right MVP, or finding product-market fit.
